Hi Folks.
Yes, Crescent is my given name. My hippie parents named me after my birthplace, New Orleans - “The Crescent City”. I thought maybe it was a good name for a filmmaker (which I am) but it’s actually an even better name for a life and career coach.
I became a coach because my intuition told me to. I wanted to change careers, get into something where I felt more fulfilled, where I could actually make an impact.
After 20 years in the tech and marketing space, I started a certified training, “Coaching for Transformation” with Leadership that Works. I went on to obtain the next level of accreditation - Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation. I am also a graduate of Level 1 in Internal Family Systems.
My personal experience as a marketing professional, artist, and teacher brings a creative lens to the coaching work with my clients. I integrate a number of tools such as meditation, visualization, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with traditional coaching approaches. The focus of my practice is supporting clients to transform their mindset and achieve their goals.
Since I have experience with storytelling, marketing and media creation, some clients have been asking for mentorship and guidance on their websites, social media and brand. I’m happy to include this type of consulting as part of my packages when requested.
